Angels and Demons is the prequel to Dan Brown’s bestselling novel The Da Vinci Code. Harvard religious symbologist Robert Langdon is asked to investigate a strange murder. He soon learns that the victim, well-known physicist, has an ancient symbol seared onto his chest. Langdon recognizes the image as the seal of the Illuminati, an ancient organization devoted to science and discovery. Over the course of history, the Illuminati has been in constant conflict with the Catholic Church due to their religious teachings.

While vacationing in a remote wilderness area, Missy Philips goes missing. No one knows what has happened to her.
